'They have two buildings there I stayed in the exterior building because I had my dog with me. It’s great that they’re able to accommodate dogs of all sizes and breeds. However, the hotel room rooms in the other building are much nicer. They’re also larger. On the second day we were there. I guess they had some kind of electric issue with the hot water tank and we had no hot water. They did accommodate us by allowing me to take a shower in the other building in a different hotel room. 'The hotel is in an amazing location with beautiful views of the lake, the rooms and all public areas are pristine and clean, & the staff were absolutely amazing. I would not recommend eating at the restaurant, as it's quite overpriced, the menu is quite performative, and the food wasn't that great for the price paid. It is also very small & loud if the patio is not open. That said, it did not deter from how amazing the hotel is. Just find somewhere else to eat during your stay.'

'Advertising breakfast but only on weekdays. Linens in rooms looked like they were 30 years old and threadbare Has a pool but opened to public until 6 pm when only guests can use. Will never go here again.'

'The rooms seemed updated but we had a lighter, old dirty towel left in our room when we got there. Our air conditioning unit leaked all over the ground so half the room was a pond, when you walked on it, the water splashed. We had a 2 towels put down to soak up the water which was brown. We asked for maintenance and it wasn’t taken care of until the second time we asked. They supposedly fixed it and put another towel down and the second towel was soaked after an hour. Not a good stay at all.'

'We had a wonderful stay at Harriet’s House in Put-in-Bay. The room was exceptionally clean, and it was clear that great attention is given to maintaining the property. The bed was very comfortable, there were plenty of towels provided, and everything in the room was spotless—including the air conditioning unit, which was dust-free and worked great. The staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. The location is another huge plus—it’s close to downtown, making it easy to walk...

'I go to Port Clinton yearly and always stay in this hotel. It's always clean and never smells like smoke. The AC units work great and the view from the patio is amazing.'

'Stay was awesome. My only suggestion to mgt is that the 1st floor back door is very loud and jaring when it closes. Can hear and feel it.in room 107 and probably beyond.'
