'We stayed at this cabin for one night to celebrate our 18-year anniversary, and it was absolutely perfect! It’s a beautiful, private, and secluded spot that gave us the peace and quiet we were looking for. 'The 'Residence & Conference Centre' is a college dormitory turned into a (partial) hotel. The "suite" we reserved for a one-night stay was a very basic 2+ person dorm room, best suitable for couples or people (friends, family members) who prefer to have a room for themselves (since there were two separate bedrooms). 'Property was clean and as advertised in a residential neighborhood near shopping, 401 and several useful amenities/restaurants. During our stay (Sept 2025) there was significant construction in the area that made getting to some places a challenge - expect this will be done soon. 'Large suite - served our needs as far as having 2 bedrooms. Certain basic amenities were a bit lacking, i.e. water glasses, a fry pan or pot. As well a coffee machine would have been nice. Fitted sheets were available although it was necessary for us to make the beds. These small touches (which are not really extras in most places) would make the stay more enjoyable.'

'Me and my partner stayed here for just under 3 weeks. I found the place lovely and comfortable for what we needed. The place was clean and everything easy to use. Only issue I would say is to have a bigger frying pan for cooking or a 2nd one. The host Stephanie I felt was brilliant she checked in with us to see if there was anything she could do to help. The location is quiet with fantastic running/walking trails but is also not far from the shops and restaurants. I would recommended this place...

'The location was ideal for us! Walking distance to the Rock the Park concerts and surrounded by restaurants. Also the host was very pleasant to deal with and was quick to respond to any of our questions. '
