'Stayed July 3–5, 2025 with my wife via VRBOWe had a fantastic stay at Bolstad West for the holiday weekend. The location truly can’t be beat—steps from the beach, right by the boardwalk, and walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in downtown Long Beach. Fireworks on the beach were next-level, and it was amazing to watch the chaos and color unfold right outside the property.The unit itself was clean, quiet, and tastefully furnished, with a cozy vibe that made it feel like home....

'My wife and our two boys and our dog had a wonderful stay Nicole was very quick to respond to any questions we had and it was a beautiful stay with the ocean in just a short walk and the house had everything we needed even for our dog! I would definitely Recommend staying!'

'We were on a family trip with three children. We stayed in the serendipity cottage. The children really appreciated the games that were available. 'We’ve now stayed at this property twice and will continue for our annual Doggy Vacation (we bring our pup here every year…she LOVES the beach!). It’s clean, the perfect size and has everything you need for a relaxing trip. We love that it’s outside the main town; just a short, beautiful walk through the dunes and you’re at the beach…where most often, you have it to yourselves. No crowds, peaceful and wonderful!'

'Very nice cottage just a couple blocks from the waterfront. Very well equipped apartment, comfortable bed and tastefully furnished. It was perfect for one night and we even prepared some food in the kitchen. Note the bed is in a loft with among the steepest staircases I have seen in an apartment. Stairtread height 10-11 inches. Not for folks with stability challenges or bad knees. Wasn’t an issue for us but to be aware. '

'The condo is on the first level that has two other rentals above it. Which makes for very loud floors/ceilings! Upon arrival, I noticed quickly the floors and corners of the floors were still pretty dirty, and the cleaning wasn’t the greatest job of them…. I did wipe up a few areas just for my own sanity to live for the week. I understand the sand nearby is cumbersome and a “dirty” thing to try and always keep clean. 'We loved the home and it had everything our large family needed. The bedrooms were perfect and the beds were very comfortable. It was nice to have 4 full bathrooms as well. The home was situated perfectly from the beach and to have the ADA walkway right out the door was perfect for strollers and the wagons to make it 3/4 of the way to where we camped out during the day.'

"Dit is een perfecte lokatie om een of meer paar dagen van het strand te genieten. Je loopt er zo heen. Goede restaurants ook erg dichtbij. Wij hadden kamer met balkon aan de zijkant. Ook dan goed zicht op de zee. Dan het hotel zelf. Ruime kamer met schuifpui naar balkon. Geen airco maar wel plafondventilator. Prima bed. Gewoon helemaal prima. Er is een binnen zwembad. Tenslotte is er goed personeel. Tammy heeft ons fantastisch geholpen nadat we wat in een restaurant haalden laten liggen. Geweldig!"

"This motel is exactly what you see, very basic, but good. Upon entering, the light scent of chlorine reassures you that everything is clean and well-maintained. It’s centrally located, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. I can imagine that in the summer months, being so close to the beach, this would be a great base for an amazing vacation."
