As we came to Peille to visit Monaco and Nice, we enjoyed the mountainside as well. 15-20 minute drive took us to Monaco or Nice center which are beautiful cities. The drive itselves was an happening as well. I was like Cars driving through the mountainside with Sally. The whole family enjoyed it. La Vela was a great B&B to stay. 'Incredibly tasteful decorated house, with spectacular views from balcony and windows. Everything you need is there, fine kitchen, beds are good. It is on top of a mountain in a most beautiful small village and only 20 minutes by car from nice.'

'The house and the owner were great. The house contained everything that we needed and more. The owner was really kind and helpful. The location of the house however was too remote for us. Daytrips to cities like Monaco were not undertaken because of the road to and from the gite. We did one trip to Sainte-Agnes and it took us 40 minutes. The road only rarely lets two cars pass without problems. If you wish a remote place where you can really feel alone, this is the place for you.'

'Wir waren über das Wochenende da und haben es sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft ist super und die Lage hervorragend. Abseits von Stadt und Mensch lässt sich der atemberaubende Ausblick ausgezeichnet am Pool genießen! Absolute Empfehlung, wenn man etwas Ruhe zu schätzen weiß!'
