'We actually ended up staying at this owner's other property, "The Cottage" which is a few houses down from "Bass Ranch". The booking didn't get updated with VRBO. We absolutely loved staying at the cottage for the holidays! We have family that lives within 15 miles of Anchor Lake, so they were able to come out and hang with us quite a bit. Everyone from our 8 year old son, to our late teen and early twenties nieces and nephews, and even my 76 year old mother in law loved hanging out at the lake...

'First just let me say this, Lamar and Lisa are incredibly nice and helpful, they greeted us when we arrived and gave us a tour. This house is beautiful, and it's huge and absolutely spotless. It was so quiet and peaceful, we enjoyed sitting out on the wrap around deck in the evening. Lamar has had the yard treated for mosquitoes, I can honestly say we weren't bothered by one single bug.There aren't chairs on the deck, so if that's your thing definitely brings chairs. We definitely want to go...
