'We found this place last minute and was blown away at how great it was. Within 10 minutes of arriving I caught a fish off the dock and my kids were enjoying a little paddle boarding! The house has everything you need in the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms. It was easy to relax and enjoy the lake without worry about anything. The beds were comfortable, the porch was relaxing, and the cove was quiet. Two king beds made it perfect for two families as the adults had great sleeping arrangements. We...

'Everything about this cabin was quaint and great! The WiFi was very slow and you don’t have much service but it’s nice to unplug a little and enjoy the outdoors! Highly recommend!'

'Inside property looked like the pictures - very clean and quiet. Property is under construction- no elevator. Close to downtown but VERY much off the beaten path. Bad lighting in parking area. Overall EXCELLENT stay. '

'My sister and I stayed 3 nights. The cottage is beautifully decorated and has a great flow. The covered back porch w a waterfall and pond was a pleasant surprise. We were out hiking, sightseeing and shopping during the day and we didn’t cook while we were there so our time in the cottage was limited. It is in a great convenient location. I would definitely stay again - maybe Spring or Fall when the weather is pleasanter! '

'The location is great to Main st and Falls. The house is very nice, clean and cozy. Cross street has a nice restaurant which add on for the long journey travelers. Two minutes has barbecue restaurant. We have a wedding at old Edwards farm, only 7 minutes away. highly recommended. Will go back to the house for vacation. 'This was our second time visiting BLR. The first time we stayed near the Greeter's Cottage (ie: the entrance to the community) but the drive to the Lake Club was a long and windy 20min. This time we decided to stay closer to the Clubhouse, and Kelly's home is only about 5min away. It was great for easy access with our 3 young kids! We got lots of time at the beach/pool, and they loved the Bear Creek Park (which is walking distance from the home). They have a blast playing in the creek! Kelly's...

'Our week at Lake Jocassee was the perfect opportunity to unplug and rest. We were able to visit a few of the local parks. The views are incredible! We rented a boat just a few minutes from the house and explored all of the lake’s waterfalls. The property is a short drive to the beach. Michael was incredibly responsive and helpful.
