We stayed 4 nights, and had to commute 12 miles to another site where we had weekend obligations, so we were not able to just sit and enjoy being in the woods. Several marked hiking trails are on the property, a couple of which begin at the cabin. Everything was clean, and we were allowed to have our little dog. 'This cute and quaint farmhouse cottage was exactly as described and the perfect home base for our family’s hiking and waterfall exploration getaway. We visited over Labor Day weekend and enjoyed exploring the local area, including Pigsah National Forest, DuPont State Forest, Hendersonville Apple Festival, and Brevard shops and restaurants. The cottage is wonderfully situated to take advantage of the areas natural surroundings. A short 5 minute drive to a five waterfall hike in DuPont forest,...

'Clean property. Hot tub was nice! Deck needs alittle love but was still nice to be outside. The screened in area needs some work to be safe for little ones. Inside is rustic and homey. Older cabin floors are creaky makes it hard to not wake others if you are an early riser lol. Overall great place to celebrate my birthday with family. '
