'It’s a great location stayed as we were going to a concert and the venue is about a 2 minute walk away. Parking reasonably priced at £5 per night, could have been free but not a rip off. Restaurant food was really quite good and service excellent staff asked if we were going to the concert and served as promptly as we were. There are some nice flat walks locally which is great for a leg stretch after being in the car. Would recommend.'

'Very dirty carpets everywhere. Worn out rooms. Beds felt dirty. Noisy. Food ok ish, big portions, comfort food only. Not good for kids, nothing to do. No access to sports facilities. Felt unsafe. Friendly staff!'

'Highly recommend to stay at Cromwell’s Tap House. It’s located in the heart of Shrewsbury, at walking distance of pretty much everything in town. Only 7 minutes from the train station. The rooms were located on the first floor above the pub. We heard no noise whatsoever, and only in the morning we heard some cars go by, but it was of no nuisance to us. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and there were a lot of amenities like a hairdryer, coffee, tea, and towels. The linen were also...
