'This is a simple, reasonably priced place to stay in Charlottetown. It was a great location with lively entertainment and diverse dining in the surrounding blocks.
A few things I wish I’d known before staying on a Friday night:
- don’t stress too much about where to park. As of 6 PM, the meters in front of the hotel become free for the weekend! We were able to park right in front of the building for free.
- bring earplugs even if you’re not a light sleeper. I can sleep well most of the time...

'The room was clean and comfortable although noisy the first night due to young people running up and down the hall (I think there was a sports tournament in town). The hotel itself, particularly where our room was in a second floor hallway at the back side of the building, was dingy and not clean. The stair carpets in this area were stained with what looked like vomit or who can say what. Caution if you stay on the second floor in the far left side of the building, as the floor drops down...

'The hotel is situated in a beautiful spot, the beach is fantastic, great place to walk and relax; the restaurant Fluke is excellent, the young chef Greg is extremely creative; the hotel is very modern, the room faced the beach and was spacious and comfortable.
The problems were a lack of professional hospitality, by which I mean the reception and serving staff seemed poorly trained. The biggest problem for us absence of any good coffee on the premises; no real espresso machine either in the...

'The hotel is convenient to visit Charlottetown with the car, located in the commercial street outside downtown but not far. Room spatious, well equipped and quiet. The continental breakfast is included but like mos american hotel chains, self service with plastic-throw-away china which for us europeans is seen very primitive and improvised. The staff at the hotel were very helful and efficient as they organised shipment of the bag that we forgot in the hotel, many thanks for that extra service!'
