So this is not really a tip as I'm sure everyone knows this location. Think of it more as me trying to encourage all of you who haven't been there already to go and see this magnificent place with your own eyes. It truly is a wonder of the world!

A few things to keep in mind though. First of all, there are a limited number of entry tickets per day so it's essential to book ahead. Also, to maximize your chances of getting some nice weather on your visit you should come during winter (summer in the northern hemisphere) but be prepared for some cold nights. #goldenhour

'It was a beautiful place, lovely to relax in, service was excellent, love the gardeners, love the llamas (or alpacas - unclear), lovely jacuzzi. Could fit twelve people or six alpacas in the jacuzzi and still have room to do laps. Unfort we were incredibly incapable of temperature regulation (possibly our fault). The dome became a whole greenhouse during the day and outside was somehow too cold unless you were in the jacuzzi. Also the drinking water situation was a challenge - BYOW. '

'My wife and I are visiting Cusco from Dallas, Texas. We had a wonderful stay. The host spoke English and was very kind and helpful. He showed us how to operate the appliances. There was hot water in the shower, a gas stove, washing machine, refrigerator, TV with Netflix (big plus), and electric portable space heater (another big plus). 'The hotel is very clean and well kept. The hosts are responsive and helpful. They arranged a pick up from the airport and stored our bags when we were away on the inka trail. The room had comfortable beds and a small kitchen with the basics. We were very comfortable there. I would recommend for any family travelling with kids. The location is great too.
