'The place was under construction which I was aware of so that was a nonissue for me. The AC had an override feature that I was not too happy with. Maybe it was because of the construction but I made the best of it. Staff was very friendly and accommodating which made the stay a much better experience. Santurce is the town I love to stay in because of all the stores and restaurants there. I definitely would recommend going to visit The Wave again.'

'It is not soundproof as advertised. The planes arriving and departing are not terribly disruptive but if you are expecting soundproof it is not. Very convenient for an early flight, easy walk to check in. Somewhat expensive, but did make our morning much less stressful. '

'This was the 3rd time staying at Tropica Beach Hotel. The place felt like I walked into a spa in Bali. Jessica at the front desk was so welcoming and she remembered me when ai stayed during Christmas last year. The room walking in had relaxing music playing and it transported me to a tropical escape. The restaurant amd pool on property are top notch! The hotel is EXCEPTIONAL in EVERY WAY!'

"Rooms are not very big, but they are clean. Being at the airport means you can hear planes the whole day. We stayed two nights a week apart and had issues with the water on both occasions. The water in the shower was too hot, also the shower handle came loose. Our arrival was after 11 pm once and we left at 3 am the second time, both were no trouble at all. The hotel is right at the airport and very convenient for late arrivals and early departures. I would recommend this hotel gor this reason alone. The included breakfast was adequate."
