Theres a propane heater if it gets cold, that works great, and a portable AC to keep temps low when it gets hot. 'Very quiet and peaceful and the best restful vacation I think I have ever had…. View was beautiful and calming and neighbors quiet and respectful, even had visits from geese and ducks and a little squirrel came to say hello … even enjoyed watching the baby blue tail lizard run and play (I love animals )❤️'

'Stayed here for Christmas. Absolutely adorable property. So clean. So inviting. So cozy. I ended up staying an extra night which was painless to arrange. Host is very accommodating and fast to respond to my questions and request. This place housed 2 of us very comfortable. Even has a bathroom upstairs in the loft bedroom. I will def be back to this property. Was a great experience, do yourself a favor and go ahead and book :)'

'Upon arrival I was not impressed with some of the "junk" like old RV's, etc. around the area. We arrived late so it was hard to see and find the house. I was a bit nervous due to what I could see. The area is old and run down. The house wasn't as clean as I thought it should be. The towels and cookware need to be replaced. 'I enjoyed my stay. Centrally located. Comfortable. Well equipped kitchen except no cutting board which made meal prep a challenge. Hard to judge value since I stayed during the 2024 spring eclipse, so room rates in Doniphan were 5-10 times higher than usual. Would recommend for our of town guests'

'Have stayed there before and loved it. This stay not so much the bathrooms needed some attention, but can easily be overlooked, the cabin on the otherhand was not, the beds,and bed linens were absolutely clean and tidy that was about it. Now there are canoes and floaters coming and going ruining the peaceful feeling, it just felt to much like being at Saddler falls or one of those places.'

'The cabin itself is comfortable and perfect for those who come to the area to enjoy all the outside adventures this area has to offer… During our time here (Thanksgiving) it was too cold for us to do a float trip, but we got in some hiking—the area is beautiful!
