'We had such a good time. From the moment we walked in the door it literally felt like home. The house was so clean, the entry and check out instructions were easy to follow, the pool was my kids favorite part, well that and the fire pit. The host was there for all questions during our stay, and even directly messaged us after our stay to make sure we had no issues. They even went the extra bit to make sure to have a list of things to do and see around us. We will definitely be booking again...

'We stayed for 7 days. Pretty nice place but we are older and both have some challenges with walking, so the hill leading to the back of the house was a challenge and the one down to boat dock was even more of if a challenge.We rented pontoon which was nice to take out on lake. This would be a nice place to bring your kids and grandchildren. It was nice to have the option to grill so we didn’t have to eat out all the time. 'It's a beautiful cabin and the owners are very responsive and helpful! My only complaint has nothing to do with the property or owners, but the noise from the park (which is across the road...awesome if you have kids in tow!) in the late evening/early night is a little irritating (not kids playing but people meeting up with systems thumping and revving engines), but it tapered off by 10-11PM. So if you are an early bird like me I recommend bringing a sound machine, fan, or ear plugs! Other than...

'This property could not have been any better for our family. We celebrated our dad’s 85th birthday here and we hosted his family for a lovely bbq. We were able to bring our 17 year old standard poodle which made this trip possible. The kitchen was perfect. So many helpful amenities. The house is huge…bedrooms were great, bathrooms wonderful. 'My sister and I traveled from both Northern and Central Illinois to the Doniphan area to scatter our parents ashes and the current river as they had requested. My dad’s family were all from Doniphan. We absolutely loved this Verbo. The one thing I would say is if you’re looking for somewhere where you’re on the water be in mind that while the site overlooks the water you can’t really just get in the water and swim. It says it has a boat dock, but that would not accommodate launching about....
