'Nice room'

'Mould in kettle and in the fridge in the “Lounge”. Fridge turned off with milk with a expiry date of November 2025 (3) The ladies shared toilet and floor were disgustingly filthy. Bed sheets were clean but had come wrinkled like they had been sitting in the bottom of a washing basket for a week. Absolutely no amenities in room. Air conditioner above your head which did not work and was so noisy. Have never written a bad review and have stayed in many budget accommodation, but never anything like...

'We had no choice as there was no where else in Burra. Previous reviews had complained about a step in a dark corridor and nothing had been done to fix this problem and my partner also missed this step and stumbled. At least some yellow tape on the step would help. The corridors are stacked with old boxes and other bits of junk. You do get what you pay for and the room is simply furnished. At least the room was warm. The meal however was wonderful. Would eat there any time'

'Charming historical cottage. Extra amenities: food, dressing gowns, an abundance of towels and a beautiful garden. '

'This property was exceptionally clean including all crockery and cutlery. It had the charm of a heritage building combined with the basic elements to make our stay a pleasant one. One bathroom with toilet within may be a consideration for some. The grounds are lovely with a great bbq entertaining area that would be excellent in the warmer months. '

'Loved Cartapo Cottage. Proper quiet, surrounded by gums, galahs, and open land. The night sky was unreal — completely dark and full of stars.Clean, comfortable, and everything was easy. Chloe & Oliver were genuinely warm and welcoming too. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful escape! '

'Highly recommend this Historic Cottage . Near town (walking distance) and serene. Beautiful gardens compliment this house . Everything we needed was there. Beds comfortable, warm, it has a fireplace but we didnt use it. Functional kitchen , and nice relaxing lounge area. So much History in this cottage and an EX Premier of the state owned it at one point . Plenty to see in the town , grab the Burra Pass, its well worth it. Very clean and neat place . '

'The Railway station B&B was an enjoyable relaxing place to stay. It had everything we needed to come and go as we pleased. Lovely and clean. Would happily recommend to anyone wanted to visit Burra.'
