'What a gem! Perfect walking distance to everything downtown West Monroe & downtown Monroe. Our hosts were fantastic and the home was very comfortable. We felt safe. The train is indeed very close but it was not a bother at all. '

'We had a great stay! Perfect location to ULM. We were in town for Orientation. Our daughter stayed on campus, and we stayed here. We were only there to sleep and shower, so we weren't able to take full advantage of the house. Super cozy! Highly recommend. '

'The house is as pictured. There was plenty of sleeping space for my family of 5. The beds were comfortable. It is an older house that has been updated, so there are small issues like water pressure and cosmetic eyesores. It's the best house in the neighborhood, but many of the surrounding homes are in disrepair. '

'Very clean, well maintained property. We used the pullout in the game room also, and the teens really enjoyed the exercise equipment. Cooked a couple of times, kitchen was well stocked with pans, utensils, etc. Great experience!!'

'We came to West Monroe for a week. We had kids and this beats a hotel any day. You have laundry, 1.5 baths, a full kitchen, wifi, it seems like a safe neighborhood and right close to anything you want in town. Living room has a door into hallway which you can close and bedrooms stay real quiet. Loved that! Beds and bathrooms were clean. We would stay here again if something takes us to West Monroe. 'I stayed at the Mitchell House 45 days as I was completing work before moving from the state. It was well-suited to my needs and close to my office, stores, and more. I enjoyed the quirkiness of the old house - its back screen door that slammed, the smooth wooden floors, the old doors with glass knobs and the screened-in porch. The house is well-outfitted and particularly suitable for a longer stay. Chris and Jade were responsive hosts. Thank you for allowing me to stay.'
