'We hebben dit hotel geboekt als tussenstop op weg naar Branson. We werden erg vriendelijk en vlot geholpen. Het hotel en de kamers waren erg schoon en netjes. Het beddengoed helemaal fantastisch. Onze verwachting was niet zo hoog voor een hotel op zo’n plek. Maar het was 1 van de beste in al onze jaren in de USA. '

'We stopped in Poplar Bluff on pur way down to Mississippi. This was just a random choice on a map. We loved this house so much. There was so much history inside of it. While it was too hot to be outside the whole time we spent here, we enjoyed looking at all the books, knick knacks, pictures, etc. It kept the children entertained for quite some time. 'My sister and I traveled from both Northern and Central Illinois to the Doniphan area to scatter our parents ashes and the current river as they had requested. My dad’s family were all from Doniphan. We absolutely loved this Verbo. The one thing I would say is if you’re looking for somewhere where you’re on the water be in mind that while the site overlooks the water you can’t really just get in the water and swim. It says it has a boat dock, but that would not accommodate launching about....
