'My sister and I traveled from both Northern and Central Illinois to the Doniphan area to scatter our parents ashes and the current river as they had requested. My dad’s family were all from Doniphan. We absolutely loved this Verbo. The one thing I would say is if you’re looking for somewhere where you’re on the water be in mind that while the site overlooks the water you can’t really just get in the water and swim. It says it has a boat dock, but that would not accommodate launching about....

'Great place with amazing views of the river. We were able to enjoy an awesome weekend with family . The house had everything that we needed making for a great stay. '

'I have been coming to Van Buren since I was 7 years old(now63). Have always camped, but this year I changed it up, these cabins have everything you need. Location, close to everything Current River related (especially Jolly Cone)! Comfortable, private, fire pit, grill, wi-fi, and excellent climate controlled cabins, (Eskimo’s in the group). Plan on staying here again soon!'

'We did loose internet connection so gps did not always help but the local stores did. Also the managers answered their phones and were so helpful in many ways! I’m very glad we went.'

'The property was all good. We stayed to float on current river. It rained so much we couldn't float. Kind of a bust weekend for that reason. The cabin was fine.'

'Excellent wilderness location for those who enjoy scenic outdoor activities.House was extremely well equipped with comfortable furniture and beds.All appliances were modern, clean, and worked very well. Broadband internet was excellent speed and reliable.Communication with host was excellent and helpful throughout the stay.Couldn't have asked for a better spot for a nice, relaxing getaway. 'We spent two nights at this property for our float trip. It was perfect size for our group of two adults and three teens. The second bathroom was a huge plus! Location was great, a quick walk or short drive to really anywhere you could want to go. '

'Very comfortable,clean and beautiful cabin. It has everything you need. We also enjoyed the beautiful current river. The irrigation pump running 24/7 across the river was loud but other than that it was a wonderful vacation! We'll definitely be back'

'This property could not have been any better for our family. We celebrated our dad’s 85th birthday here and we hosted his family for a lovely bbq. We were able to bring our 17 year old standard poodle which made this trip possible. The kitchen was perfect. So many helpful amenities. The house is huge…bedrooms were great, bathrooms wonderful. The deck was amazing… so many thoughtful touches throughout the home to make us feel “at home”. I could go on and on! The hosts were always responsive...

'Fantastic property and the gravel bar was amazing to relax on. Interior was nice and perfect size for a family with up to 4 kids, the bunk beds are easily full size mattresses! Amenities were nice and sheets and towels definitely clean. The back deck is amazing for morning coffee or peaceful evening and having the smart TVs made for great evening activities since we brought our switch. 10/10 would definitely stay here again!'

'This house was perfect for our weekend trip. Very close to the boat races we attended. Super quiet neighborhood. Very nice, updated kitchen. '

'We had a magical time at this cabin! It was beautifully decorated and updated, breakfast items were provided and the hot tub was amazing. All of the attention to detail made it really special. Communication with Kim was superb. Would definitely return and recommend!'

'Due to a situation beyond the property owners control we weren’t able to stay at the original cabin but they acted quickly and moved us to another. Great service and we had a great time. '

'The cabin was the perfect size for the 3 of us. Very comfortable and clean. Had everything we needed to cook dinner. Would Recommend!'
