'After booking online thru Expedia on our long 15 hour drive, we arrived just before midnight only to find the only rooms available were on the 3rd floor and the elevator was broken. Ugh. Our room was dated and worn out. The AC was awful. The pillows were small, lumpy and firm. I turned off my morning alarm and slept like a rock. Showered went downstairs with the family and found that breakfast had already ended. We were not advised about breakfast hours. We had to go elsewhere. Pretty...

'I showed up at the property to check in and there was no one at the front desk. There was a number to call I called it numerous times and left messages after 30 min they called me back. And said they're phone was messed up and that they were at the property. I waited another 15 min and no one showed up. I tried calling them again and no answer. I ended up having to book a different hotel'

'Upon arrival 7:30 PM, the room was not ready, went to dinner came back the door to the room would not close and lock. They offered another room. The inside lock was missing. The carpet was filthy. The toilet wasn’t clean. There was cereal in the Kleenex holder. I had to drive to next town to find a room. After advising expedia.com of my dissatisfaction they were able to refund . Without a reservation other motels were full had to drive 30 minutes to next town and without a reservation there it...

'The location was not described properly, it is in a middle of a commercial block which is deserted at night and the common space is a store front.'

'We chose this hotel based on reviews but they clearly were not authentic. The place is in desperate need of maintenance. There were only 3 guests in the whole place (including us) and yet the front desk gal would not or could not figure out how to give us a bottom floor room with two beds. We used a third party app because it had a room with “a king bed and two twins” as an option. When we arrived, we were told they don’t have any rooms like that and we had to take the king bed on the 2nd floor....

'Had a wonderful stay. The house is rustic and homey and on a beautiful piece of property. Perfect getaway for some peace and quiet. Hope to visit again soon. '
