'Delightful old building on Water Street, close to the waterfront. Exiting the front door, you can walk the whole of downtown in 10 minutes. The rooms were quiet and comfortable, and the restaurant downstairs was excellent. It wasn't crowded, so they let us stay on after dinner and play cards for several hours. Wish we could have stayed longer just to enjoy the friendly, low-key ambience of the Kennedy Inn and the town of St Andrews.'
