'For such an old property, the hotel was beautifully restored to its old look as well as incorporated a new look. Very helpful and amenable staff. It is so convenient to be very near downtown Roanoke and all the activity there.'

'This is a very new hotel, and it showed in some small ways. It is a beautiful property with helpful, attentive, and friendly staff, but there were some amenities missing. No conditioner, no microwave, no iron, no closet. There weren't extra sheets/ pillows for the pull-out couch (although they were delivered promptly when requested). The "complimentary pastries and coffee in the lobby" mentioned on the website are only available on Mondays, which was a dissapointing surprise upon arriving....

'Spacious loft, dishwasher, washing machine and kitchen with big fridge is great if you want to reorganise during a road trip. Parking is very convenient too. After calling about the code to open the doors, service was really friendly and swift. I did not like the lack of a duvet on the bed. I found a throw in the closet, but that's not kingsize so I woke up cold. Lighting in the loft is terrible and fans and (neighbours) water piping noises are pretty loud. Door of 211 feels flimsy, light...
