'We always stay at Hampton when we travel. However, recently, I have begun to notice an unpleasant trend. Has there recently been a company memo sent out to your locations that require the front desk staff NOT to smile and NOT to in anyway indicate that they are happy the customer is checking in?? Good Lord, is their job so miserable that they act like they have been on duty for 36 straight hours? I am a business owner and I realize how hard it is to get decent employees. 'Fantastisc decorated cabin, country style. It looks great from the in and outside. The cabin is in a very private part of Janells garden. It has everything you need. Beds are super! Janell is a super host. Communication up front was clean and She welcomed us with cake and a Nice card. Janell was helpful with whatever we asked. The customer service was the best. Definitely going again next year. This was our second year staying at this property and it did not disappoint. There is a lot to do in the area. We discovered on this visit four different state parks right in the immediate area.'

A few minutes outside of Sandusky, the rooms are simple yet comfortable and the grounds are a lovely place to relax, be it outside with the porches, pavilions, and firepits, or in one of the shared spaces inside. Ranae's communication was friendly, prompt, and clear. My only regret was that we didn't have more time there.'
