'Het hotel is overduidelijk onderhevig aan een geleidelijke opknapbeurt, veel is brandnieuw of net geverfd, er is alleen nog niet geïnvesteerd in sfeer, dus dat is nog ver te zoeken. Men is erg vriendelijk en het eten is goed, het uitzicht prachtig.'

'Veel te duur voor wat je krijgt. De "Prime King" kamer is erg klein en daarnaast is het allemaal ook niet echt schoon. Gebouw is slecht onderhouden. Ontbijt is zeer beperkt en er is geen enkele gezonde keuze. Het personeel is wel heel vriendelijk.'

'We had a fabulous week at the Isle of Mull Hotel. The hotel is beautiful and our sea view room stunning. We ate at the bar and in the restaurant and both were amazing, staff were polite and attentive, especially Sean. The hotel is great for touring round the island and provided us a comfortable and convenient base for our trip. Only downside was the pool wasn't open as there was a problem with the heating of the water, but I think that was nearly fixed as we left. Spa was open though,...

'We stayed for 3 nights. Location was perfect: near great hiking trails/ beautiful places and there were some restaurants in the same street. The room was a bit small with little space to put our luggage, but very clean and comfortable. Service was amazing. When our shoes and clothes were completely drenched after a hike in the rain, we were offered an electrical heater and some old newspapers to dry our shoes. Our clothes were put in the washing and dryer, so we could continue our holiday with...

'We made a last minute reservation and all went fine. The room was spotless clean and there was a very good shower. The bar is very authentic and both the dinner and breakfast were very good. We had a nice view on the lake.'

'You simply will be hard pressed to find a nicer B and B anywhere. The hosts have literally put their heart and soul into providing accommodations and stays that enhance your beautiful Islay visit. Everywhere we went, locals were in agreement with how pleasant and hard working the hosts were. A few lamented that only guests could experience the dining experience offered at Glenegedale house. They are both incredibly hard working and involved in improving Islay for visitors and locals alike....
