'The name of the cabin, Hillside, definitely fit the description. This perfect cabin was on the hillside going up to the top of the hill. We were secluded enough to enjoy the tranquility, but too secluded to know the property managers were looking out for us. The property managers did not over promise but met our expectations regarding the property perfectly!'

'We loved our stay here. The cabin is so cute and clean. The animals are fun to see. It's just a very short walk down to the riverwalk which is great! The only negative I have is there wasn't much light in the bathroom. Hard to see anything in the mirror but there is a vanity in the bedroom with a light. Breakfast in the barn was so cool!! We would stay again. '

'Our stay at the Victorian Cottage was absolutely delightful! The cottage perfectly blends vintage charm with modern comforts — the working antique stove and claw-foot tub made us feel like we stepped back in time, but we still had all the conveniences of home like air conditioning, a washer/dryer, and fast WiFi. 'The house had everything we needed and room for us, our children, and grandchildren. The house was nicely decorated and clean. The little kids enjoyed the pool and the young adults liked the rope swing on the dock. We also used the canoe. Great place to stay!'

'We had 13 in our family group. There was plenty of room. It’s a lovely house to rent. My family enjoyed our trip and our stay at the house. We parked four vehicles back by the house. They fit, but you may have to do some car jockeying to get out. No big deal. I would stay again!'

'Such a cute cottage! The host thought of everything! Spices, all the kitchen items you’ll need, all cabinets, drawers and switches labeled, large selection of games, perfectly clean dock and outdoor furniture. Our boys loved jumping off the dock using the trapeze! We will stay here again! '

'We enjoyed our stay more than we could’ve anticipated! The home was lovely. Kids had a blast in the pool, in the game room, and watching movies in the theater. Even the neighbors were great. Kids fished their hearts out. We kayaked and realized we need our own for bayou living! My only suggestions are that the kitchen needs more pots, pans, and basic measuring tools and the bathrooms could use more towels and wash cloths. '

'Had a small family reunion here and it was perfect. Amazing place to stay! Lots of room and activities to enjoy. Had a canal right in the backyard that was great for fishing. The owners were available and attentive to our questions and all the needs we had for our little getaway. Highly recommend! '

'This property offered a cozy nest right next to Lake Granbury. The host was responsive and friendly. Kitchen was well stocked and we received on on-site letter that answered our questions on Wi-Fi and our hosts contact info. The multi level decks outside the hosts primary home were open to us to enjoy lake views and breezes. Enjoyed eating our host provided mini muffins and coffee on the deck.'

'We loved everything about the house! The outside amenities were second to none! We enjoyed the pool so very much. The inside of the house was absolutely glamorous, and it had everything we could possibly need or want…More bedrooms than we could use, great climate control, huge fridge, lots of games and entertainment! We can’t wait to come back! '

'This is a great location and wonderful house which is comfortable, very clean and well appointed. The dock is so nice and I really enjoyed the swing that is there. It is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood and has a beautiful view of the lake. The house is accessible for a walker which was important for my 83 yr old mom. I would highly recommend renting this property.'
