'We needed a one night stop near the interstate. This was a great option for us to do that. The place was clean and comfy. We had everything we needed for our short stay. '

'This house was perfect for our family of 6, while we moved our oldest into college for the first time. Our fur babies were able to travel with us and whomever was not up for unpacking at the dorm could relax at the house. It was beautifully decorated and a relaxing space overall. We hope to be back whenever we travel to Ames!'

'Easy to get to and from where we needed to be. Small but clean and met all the needs for sleeping except one part-basement included sleeping option for the couch but doesn’t work if you’re over 6 feet tall. We managed with that since it was a teenager. :) Overall we’re planning to stay again!'

'Great place, clean and in great spot for our activities. Yard needed maintenance and the upstairs ac was slow but eventually got nice. Three trash bags was not enough for five days let alone for 5 women, but we were happy with the property. Very pleased with the price.'

'The Babes loved EVERYTHING about the Love Shack. Tiffany is an amazing host and very easy to communicate with - so responsive to requests and questions! I think she is quite possibly the best VRBO host I’ve worked with. The property is inviting and just joyful. The neighborhood is lovely and safe! Next door neighbors even offered us candy and goodies! How fun is that?! Close to everything we wanted to see! Definitely would recommend. And Des Moines is a fantastic city!'

'Lovely property with a nice back yard and a great front porch. Beds are comfortable and owners are responsive. Kitchen is well set up with new appliances. We used all four bedrooms and the sofa bed in the game room - all were great. Highly recommended - will hopefully visit again next time we're in Des Moines.'

'This large upper unit was perfectly located off 235 so we could navigate to all our events easily. Street parking was readily avaliable. The charming exterior has potential to be more upscale with improved landscaping. Our older guests felt a bit insecure on the outside steps without railings at the very bottom.The open concept living area was very spacious with comfortable furnishings. The dinning area easily sat 8 people. The kitchen had plenty of counter space. Cabinets had lots off minor...
