'I travel for work and have stayed at a few places in Ames before staying here. Let’s just say this is the only place that has felt clean, not just looked clean. I normally don’t stay at hotels that have carpet but this place had carpeting that looked like it had just been shampooed. Excellent upkeep in function and appearance from maintenance/mgmt. Guy at the front desk is always welcoming and after driving for over 4hrs that’s really appreciated. '
