'Bed springs on the mattress were poking me and the breakfast was minimal , but everything looks the same when your eyes are closed Budget friendly so don’t expect the 4seasons at a budget price. Would I stay there again? Yeah, why not,,,, just maybe a bed that doesn’t poke me in the back while I’m sleeping. Were there bugs? I don’t know because I didn’t want to check… don’t need those nightmares for 3 nights. But the employees were friendly'

'The man who supervised the place he couldn't understand or hear him half of the time also we checked out the room before we stayed because the place looked shabby on the outside and inside. Went into the room peeled back the sheets and there was dirt and dead bugs in the bed there were footprints on the floor like someone had been in the pool. We asked about the pool he said well you can go there if you want but there's no pool so we didn't understand that the place smelled and everything just...

'Overall, an enjoyable stay. Would liked to have had a closet or hangers in the room for coats, etc. Not many electrical outlets. Nice room overall. Good value for the price. Breakfast a bit sparse, but okay. We will stay here again.'

'Dirty linens were piled on the bed. The room had not been cleaned. They refused to give us a refund. The manager lied and said the room was in disarray due to inspectors coming.'

'Did a bed bug check night before and everything was ok. Woke up in the AM, had one crawling on the pillow. My wife had a few bites. Took it up in a zip lock bag to the front office and the attendant didn't want anything to do but get us checked out ASAP. Took the morning to get all of our stuff out onto bags to take home and put into the dryer.'

'Breakfast was poor at best compared to all other hotels I’ve stayed at. Amenities were not great I had to buy a coffee maker for my room because it was a long stay room with stove ect but was equipped. Cheap .50 plastic dishes from Walmart that were used up. One spoon 2 forks lots of spatulas. I asked for more spoons and plates replaced nothing happened.'

'The place was like new. Must have been recently updated with new carpet and fresh paint. VERY CLEAN, modern. Good options for the included breakfast. Friendly staff. Dyersville is a cute small town., shops nearby. Going back next year, and I will definitely stay at this Super 8 again. I highly recommend staying here..it's a great Super 8 !'

'Very unfriendly service at the main desk, since I had a lot of luggage I had requested a first floor room close to the parking, I got a second floor room at the end of the corridor, the unfriendly lady at the desk told me that it was because I booked through hotels.com, and not through their site. If I had complaints I should turn to hotels.com. So if you like to book through hotels.com choose another hotel and avoid this one.'
