'This hotel was way more luxury than I've ever stayed at before. The hotel makes a great impression when you walk in, especially with the front desk staff being so friendly. The lobby is a vibe that Iam fully here for. This extended to the hallways and our room. We walked into a fireplace and couch set up that begged you to sit and relax with an eating corner and honest bar behind you and the bed off to the side. The bathroom is HUGE. A walk in shower and a separate bathtub with a chandelier...

'A front receptionist was repeatedly rude to the customers she managed over the phone. She was argumentative and denigrated her customers on the phone….including me. She argued with how I made my reservation - a phone call to Hilton reservations- she stated was made through a third party. That sort of rudeness required a re-think of her people-facing role. She became frustrated, her voices was raised, argumentative and simply rude. Never should she have access to customers. '

'The breakfast menu was awesome! Waffles, fresh fruit, eggs-small scrambled and hard boiled, bacon, toast, juices, coffee and more! Best continental I’ve seen in awhile! The hotel was spotless, as was our room! Excellent and all staff was very cheerful and helpful!! Our dog loved it there too!!'

'A clean and safe place to stay in Des Moines, especially by the airport. They also offer a park and stay deal, for those who need to fly out but leave their car somewhere. The staff were extremely kind, but we didn't have a pleasant experience with the lady running the breakfast in the morning. She could have been tired, but was short with us trying to make a waffle. The rooms are outdated, but in good condition for the most part. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub area, which was also...
