'We needed a home base of operations while we searched for homes that surrounding area. The the price was reasonable and the home was comfortable and decorated with nice decor. The neighborhood is just okay, close to the plant and lots of stray cats, but we felt safe. The owners are very friendly and they have a good portal that tells you a lot of information about things to do in the surrounding area. 'So in order for me to write why my husband and child did not stay I had to give a review. I hope the review I gave will be the truth of how the place was. My husband took my son to the Bristol night race. Frist for both of them. He did not know if he would need to get a place or not so I found this little place and he was okay with it. Then after the race he said we are just going to drive home because he felt good. '

'It is a neat, clean, nicely decorated older home. Some things to note: - it is an older home, so the floors creak and the doors stick and creak at times as well. This wasn't an issue for us, but if you have light sleepers, it may be something to stay aware of. - the toilets are small. That sounds strange, but my family is very tall (6' and over), and we had some logistical problems with the lack of leg space in the hall bathroom. No problem with the bathroom in the laundry room. 'We really enjoyed our stay at John’s place with our two pups. It was a great location to visit the Bristol Caverns, Steel Creek Park, and the downtown area. We also made a quick visit to Abingdon to see a friend’s play at the Barter Theatre. John is a thoughtful and communicative host.'

'We came to Bristol for a show at the Hard Rock. The property is several miles away but we were able to uber without difficulty. The property owners were on top of everything. We didn’t have trash bags or an iron and within an hour both were being delivered. There were 4 couples and we usually stay in rentals with a bedroom and bathroom for each couple. Having only 2 bathrooms wasn’t the most convenient but we made it work. There aren’t many rental options in Bristol that met our needs. The rooms...

'Granny's House is a delight! From the cozy back porch to the very comfortable beds, everything in the house was designed for a relaxing stay. The kitchen had everything we could need for our visit.
