I stayed at the main house with a sprawling set up providing space for work on my laptop and a big bathroom with a cracking shower. I decided to use the gym which was functional but somewhat underwhelming considering the backdrop. 'Plenty of parking, the room was clean and the welcome friendly.The downside was the restaurant was closed when arrived so the alternative was to go out again. We didn't bother, it might have been better to have had some notice of this and we could made other arrangements it didn't spoil matters.'
