'The Royal Motel Tenterfield appears to be a typical basic country motel but it has many special features, the staff were always helpful, the generous supplies of snacks and goodies - renewed daily - and the newly renovated bathrooms made it a standout. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The position in the town was excellent, just a little off the main road so little traffic noise and the motel is situated in the generous rear allotment of the hotel. 'One night or seven, Mill cottage is a fantastic stay with everything you need in the cottage. The breakfast supplies are great. The cottage is walking distance to town or simply a great location to sit on the verandah with a glass of wine and people watch. The walk back through time with the way the house is styled is amazing.Not our first time here, highly recommend Mill cottage and have already booked our next trip back.'
