'Our stay at Guesthouse Koundo was excellent. It’s a beautiful home located, in our opinion, in the best spot in Nikko as it is easy to walk to the popular areas as well as catch the bus to go up to the mountain. There are also wonderful neighborhood restaurants to try within walking distance. It’s in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by beautiful nature. 'This cottage is absolutely wonderful! The warm welcome by Yoshiko, the pick-up and drop off at the train station. Great breakfast and tons of tips about sightseeing in Nikko and public transportation. Yoshiko was always ready to help and check if she could do anything for us. This really made our Japan and Nikko experience complete.'
