'This is a true gem. Old but updated cabin so you get the best of both worlds. The kids had a blast and this was awesome to have family members out for a day without houses and people right next to you. Storm came through...a bog was floating towards the island. The kids thought that was pretty cool. We will definately be back!'

'The Cottage was so charming and absolutely magical. When you get to the property, you’re automatically transformed into another world… it’s a beautiful, natural oasis surrounded by large trees, rolling hills and chirping birds. The Cottage had wonderful details that were very thoughtful and darling.There are great places to hang out… the yard, the porch, the upstairs deck, the outdoor breakfast nook and the large deck at the front entrance of The Cottage. We would highly recommend this place....

'We had a great stay at this property. Having so much space meant our group could spread out. We enjoyed the numerous gathering areas and well stocked kitchen. There were toys for kids, games, books, movies, and even a pool table. The swimming area was clear, shallow and sandy; great for the little kids and for the adults to enjoy some floating time. 'Brophy Reflections was a perfect location and space for a girls weekend for 6 women.Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of indoor and outdoor space to gather. Having the second refrigerator in the lower level was a great bonus. The location is very convenient for getting into Alexandria and traveling around to some local attractions. The view of the lake is lovely and the sunsets were beautiful.As the organizer of the group, I really appreciated the ease of communication with the host....

"Een zeer goed hotel, mooie ruime kamers met veel faciliteiten (koffie/thee, koelkast,magnetron, ligbad) Enorm goed service, niets te veel. Heel uitgebreid, divers ontbijt met zelfs de mogelijkheid om eten (yoghurt en vers fruit) mee naar de kamer te nemen voor later op de dag. Mooi/ruim zwembad met een apart bubbelbad. Goede uitvalslocatie om snel op de snelweg/ naar stad te komen. Borg was binnen 24 uur terug gestort. Kortom een echte aanrader!"
