'The Cottage was so charming and absolutely magical. When you get to the property, you’re automatically transformed into another world… it’s a beautiful, natural oasis surrounded by large trees, rolling hills and chirping birds. The Cottage had wonderful details that were very thoughtful and darling.There are great places to hang out… the yard, the porch, the upstairs deck, the outdoor breakfast nook and the large deck at the front entrance of The Cottage. We would highly recommend this place....

'This is a true gem. Old but updated cabin so you get the best of both worlds. The kids had a blast and this was awesome to have family members out for a day without houses and people right next to you. Storm came through...a bog was floating towards the island. The kids thought that was pretty cool. We will definately be back!'

'The photos? Sure, they look decent — but they’re taken at just the right angles and just the right lighting to hide the reality. The place is dated, dark, and dingy. What you see online is NOT what you get in person. Upon arrival, we were never sent check-in instructions. We had to call and wait on hold for 20 minutes just to figure out how to get in — standing in the heat with our bags like lost tourists. Inside? A sauna. No air conditioning, no fans, no airflow whatsoever. It was like trying...

'Lake front views were spectacular. The cabin is adorable and has everything needed. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. It was exactly what we were hoping for and were able to make great memories as a family! '
