'Leuk hotel, rechtstreeks aan het strand, maar een beetje vergane glorie. Hotel is aan het einde van het eiland Tortola. Dus lange taxirit naar luchthaven en Road Town. Tortola zelf stelt niet veel voor. Op de BVI moet je echt gaan zeilen anders is er verder niets te beleven.'

'Stayed one night before a chartered sailing. Staff was very nice and friendly. Arrived late afternoon one hour after check in time and the room was not ready yet. Stayed on a Friday night and they had cocktail hour by the pool with free pickies, which was nice. The room was booked/advertised as a condo with two bedrooms. 'Fort Recovery is an authentic, adorable villa with all the basics. We spent our days out exploring Tortola and the other islands and returned to FR in the evenings for sunsets on the balcony or sitting on the beach. We had all the equipment we needed to cook breakfast each day. I'd recommend having a rental car if you stay here - there are no options for restaurants within walking distance. Take a quick drive to Sopers Hole where you'll find all you need. '
