'A nice, affordable, quaint establishment near Beacon. The local restaurant was decent too. The rooms were spacious, clean, and functioning. The place looked so historical yet very little history to explore on the grounds - I would have liked more history! Otherwise, a great stay with great help.'

'Stayed here to be close to Fahnestock State Park and the Appalachian Trail. Short drive to both but you can actually walk to one part of where the trail cuts through town. They even had kayaks available for my use if needed. Overall very nice place with a big kitchen and bathroom which was great. I would definitely stay here again when in the area and will recommend it to my friends.'

'Walking into a bedroom from the outside deck as the main entrance is not optimal. Walking through the second bedroom to use the only bathroom is also not optimal. We never gained access to WIFI bc there was no password to be found and the owner did not answer our calls.'
