'What a wonderful stay at the country cabin! It was for only 1 night but it was perfect! Watching the snow fall while relaxing on the couch with the fireplace was just great! It was clean, neat and had everything you need. We’re already looking forward to our next stay. Our son will be attending Alfred State in the fall so we’re hoping to make this our stay place when we visit!!!'

'The property was very clean and well equipped with items needed for our stay! Very quiet and scenic. We enjoyed time outside having a campfire, using the fire table and fishing. Communication with the host was very easy.'

'Nice home, with a bit of sewage smell from the bathroom water. Clean, spacious, well-kept. Ground is uneven so take care with individuals who need assistance walking.'

'It was a fine stay. Staff was nice, parking is a bit limited for a busy weekend, breakfast was average and edible. The cost of the stay is quite high for the experience. However, it is one of the only hotels in the area. They jacked the price becuase it was graduation weekend. We paid about $380 for one night. Nothing particularly bad about it. But nothing great either. '

'When I arrived, the room was dirty with dried urine on the toilet rim, hair in the sink and tub and dirty towels. There was dust on shelves and on the lightbulbs at the desk and on the nightstand. On top of the lack of cleanliness, the bed frames were old metal frames that made a lot of noise even at the slightest touch because they had rusted in some areas. '

'Our return to Alfred University was very special, and we deeply appreciated the accommodations and hospitality provided by Steve and Luanne in their lovely, cozy home. It offered not only a great night’s rest, but also a warm and comfortable space to spend time with old friends. We were grateful for their availability, attention to our needs, and the delicious homemade banana bread. We would definitely return again.'

'The view was amazing, however, the cabin was very rustic—one step above tent camping. Floor littered with dead bugs, hanging dirty dishes. Basic bathroom accommodations quite a distance away. The horses were beautiful and trail-ride was great. The trail included a varied terrain. Loved the incorporation of yoga'
