'The interior of the house is comfortable, light and airy, with windows that look out on the lake. Exerior needs some work, washing machines underground, area could use some clean up. Lost running water for a day due to problem with pump, owner on it immediately. Location was terrific, about halfway between Rhinebeck and the Massachusetts border. Good walks in beautiful countryside.'

'The bluebird farmhouse was perfect for our trip. Our group had 4 adults and 3 young children. The house had more than enough room to accommodate everyone. The house was stocked with anything you could need, and the host even dropped off a pie and some coffee for our arrival. The yard was spacious, gas grill available for grilling and the fire pit area was great for an evening of Smores. The house was beautifully decorated inside and out. 'Lovely home. Beautiful views of the surrounding area. Very homey. Comforable.. Very convenient to the wedding venue (Stissing Restaurant). I confess that the extensive taxidermy collection was a bit more pronounced than shown in the pictures, but we got used to it and then it was part of the charm. '

'We stayed in this house last year and liked it so much we went back again. Three of us stayed very comfortably - two of us sharing a room with the twin beds, and the 3rd getting her own big bed. We spent time sitting around the kitchen table as well as hanging out in the living room. We had everything we needed, very easy and cozy.
