'We had a lovely stay at the Grape Escape. While it is truly roughing it, all our needs were met and the host was easy to contact if we needed anything. Hammondsport was an awesome town, with nice options for food, drinks, and vibes. Great food everywhere we tried, but Portside Bistro was our favorite. '

'We loved this private little cottage! We lounged in the hammocks and enjoyed the large front porch. It's conveniently located in the Finger Lakes, especially for Watkins Glen and Ithaca. We would definitely stay here again!'

'Fantastic spot, pet friendly responsive host to anything we needed, even checked in with us to make sure we made it in OK. Calm serene spot in the woods with private trails on the property. The whole family loved it. We will definitely be back!'

We enjoyed the grill, firepit, and also the peace and quiet (no busy roads, truly remote) to completely relax. 'Great location, great home, lots to do in the area and at the home. Cooked many meals at the house, ate dinner out only once to celebrate 3 family birthdays. Rented a pontoon boat from Anchor Inn one afternoon (awesome time on the lake) and did a couple wine tastings. Wagner was fantastic! Also check out Lakewood for excellent wines as well.
