'We are a group of cyclists in town for The Tour of the Battenkill 2025. The property was absolute perfection. A beautifully restored farm house with lots of barn space for our bikes, we felt so comfortable and welcome there. The house is perfectly appointed with tons of space and comfortable bedrooms. We had two wonderful dinners and sat out on the beautiful patio watching the sunset and reliving the Bike Race of the day.The grounds are exquisitely kept and a morning hike on the property was...

'We stayed in a tiny houss that was well equipped. Upon checking in we met Henry who works on the property. He was great, helped us get settled and answered all our questions. The site is on the Hudson and has nice views. The onsite restaurant was great too! Shout out to Rachel behind the bar and Matt our waiter.'

'It was acceptable for one night, but the key was a little worn and hard to use, the mirror on the door is not usable, and the room smells terribly like old cigarette smoke, mattress had a plastic protector cover, made it hard to sleep peacefully. It’s a quaint historic motel. Fixing these things would make it even better. I feel like it’s a live in motel, seemed a few of the tenants were not temporary. '

'The Harwood Hill is a very unique, vintage property. Reminiscent of the old motor lodges of the 1970's, it has been upgraded with modern conveniences such as TV, microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. Artwork by local artists hangs on the walls and are available for purchase. The continental breakfast is served in the two-car garage on the property - that may sound odd, but it works! We had a very enjoyable stay.'

'The owners are there everyday. The staff is friendly and very custimer focused. The standards are high and the inn has a great history and is lovely. It felt more like being a house guest than a customer. The restaurant was an outstanding choice for dinner and accommodation for vegetarians and allergies were taken into consideration and excellent meals with tasty desserts and great wine and cocktails now has this on our summer spots to visit!!'

'Everything was as described. Communication was fantastic and quick responding. Would stay here again and recommend it to anyone who is out that way. '
