'This cabin was even better than the pictures. The mowed hiking trails were stunningly beautiful and they took the time to make a map of them including mileage. Its helpful that they are all loops so you don't get lost. There were deer all around. The beds and loveseat are comfy. We only found 1 blanket (besides the bedding)so bring blankets if you like naps and snuggling. The place needs an outdoor table and also a nightstand. Nice dry firewood is provided along with outdoor candles. Very nice!...

Everything about it is quality-quality home, quality decor, quality landscaping, quality beds-everything was perfect. The property is located in a beautiful and quiet cul-de-sac which allowed for a very peaceful stay. 'Loved the large screened porch and private yard! Inside the cabin was clean and comfortable. It is the only place on the last hundred yards or so of a dead end road. A short walk from the Mississippi River and a 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk to a beautiful State Park with great hiking. If you are a light sleeper the trains might be an issue but we thought it was cool to have those distant train whistles.'

'Everything is as promised and we enjoyed the house. Enjoyed talking with Tanya and Jasper and one of the chickens visited us on the balcony. We also enjoyed walking by the creek.It is on the list of properties we want to come back to next year. '

The Host answered all of the questions we had and the space was awesome for the amount of people we had staying. Everything you needed was available in the house. 'Property and lodging was excellent. The cabin was clean and had everything we could have needed. It was a great stay.A minor concern was the waterfront didn't connect to the nearby lake, so we needed to transport the kayaks to the boat launch a short distance down the road, but that was a minor inconvenience. '

'The house was simply wonderful and Signe was a gem as a host. We stayed for a couple of nights during our honeymoon and enjoyed our stay immensely! Classic china and silverware, old draperies and bedsteads and a beautiful little house in a quiet, homey neighborhood. It was lovely! Thanks so much!'
