'The room was relatively clean though I killed 2 spiders in the bathtub. The room was so hot that the air conditioner couldn't cool it down until after midnight. The person at the desk was very annoyed that I had a dog though Expedia said they were pet friendly when I made the reservation. We won't be back.'

'Dirty, dead bugs everywhere. Place is very outdated, internet spotty, could not get cell phone reception. AC very noisy. Would not recommend to anyone. We left as early as possible.'

'Cool Cabin but a bit dirty and a bit broken. The deck needs work. All of the furniture & appliances could use updating. The beds are all extremely uncomfortable. Couch and recliner were visibly dirty with an ick factor. Could really use an air purifiers to cut down on the amount of dust or an After booking we learned the Pontoon boat was not included as advertised. The host was gracious enough to give us half a day free on the pontoon and we paid cash for the other half of the day. '

'Absolutely perfect! We rented this property once before for our children to come visit. Quiet, well maintained and very pleasant. Within walking distance to Lake Barkley, kayaks provided. My granddaughter liked the coolored chalk and the whole family enjoyed playing dominoes which you provided. Thank you for a peaceful place to relax!'

'Not what I expected. Room was out dated. Not cleaned well. Dust a 1/2 thick on celing fans and AC unite. Refrigerator was dirty and not cold. I felt like I was taken back in time to the 50's. This was not a resort by any means. One positive was the bed was comfortable. Won't be back.'
