'Over all the description of the property was spot on. The cleaning staff needs some pointers. Perhaps they can take some time and clean the coffee pot, empty the lint from the dryer, and cob webs along the floor by the registers. We didnt use the hot tub or the grill, we didnt want to clean them to use them. There was a faint odor of propane near the large tank. Other wise we had a blast.Barnardsville really got demolished by those storms. I had no idea it was that widespread. '

'We loved the Bass Bungalow! This place is a gem. Clean, cozy and the views are awesome! Such a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting on the porch soaking in the beautiful mountains and Lake Watauga. Our dog enjoyed swimming and had easy access to enter the lake. It was a perfect getaway for us. '

'Cabin was nice , the ac was ice cold . Lake was a short walk. Swimming beach is 10 minutes down the road. My wife and daughter misplaced some swimsuits, the owner messaged me and made them available for me, I would definitely recommend. '

'We enjoyed the cabin being close to everything, but also quietly on its own. The porch was wonderful. Everything was clean and the kitchen was perfectly stocked for cooking.'

'This place far exceeded our expectations. From the private hiking trails to the amazing views. Only thing that would make it better would be a gas grill but honestly I’m not complaining it was incredible. '

'Immaculate log cabin with comfortable beds set back off a quiet road. Easy access to the Village of Banner Elk & delicious Italian food at Sorrento’s and to the fun Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster (get the bundle!) Would definitely come back to stay!'
