'Had an absolutely lovely time! Our trip was just two nights and this cute place fit perfectly for our needs! Paz (their doggo) was the best greeter at the backyard gate every time we came back to the casita and the human hosts were very sweet and attentive. We didn’t have any issues and overall it made our trip relaxing. Thanks! _'

'Overall communication with the host was really good until it came time for him to give me the partial refund he had promised cause of the issues. The refund never came after multiple follow ups with him. He never even responded to the last message I sent. So we booked this home and had drainage issues from day 1. Showers weren't draining properly in multiple restrooms. The outdoor ice machine was broken and the outdoor projector wouldn't turn on. Reached out to the host and they sent a guy out...

'House was great and we filled all 28 sleeping spaces. It was a great space for a large group and hosts were very responsive. Two things to improve- trash space needs to be bigger for a house that large or picked up every day. Also bring a broom and dustpan- we needed it to sweep crumbs etc off floors. Overall highly recommend!'

'The property and condo were clean, and had all the amenities as described online. We had 5 people staying at the property, and had plenty of room, We very much appreciated having a second bathroom. The pool was exactly as pictured online, and well maintained. The property manager John, had great communication, and was willing to address any issues that we might have.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to stay in the Texas Hill Country area.'

'The Utopia River Retreat was just what we needed after 3 nights camping out in Big Bend. The cabin we stayed in (Kickapoo) was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed (cooking utensils, bath towels, linens). The grounds were peaceful and scenic and had a nice swimming pool and volleyball net as well as riverfront access. At this time the river on the property didn't look great for swimming (no deep spits, tree branches, etc), but if you want to swim, Utopia City Park has a deep...

'Our stay at the Highball was amazing and comfortable. Beds were comfortable, furniture was clean and also comfortable. Location for river was perfect and the views were beautiful! The best part of the stay was the views and privacy. Kelly was an amazing host and always willing to help with anything we needed. I would definitely recommend staying here anytime of the year because the views are worth it!'
