'A beautiful well equip comfortable cottage in the middle of the French countryside with its own private swimming pool and large garden.The cottage is several miles outside the town, so a car is necessary. We received good prompt information and tips from the owner. And received good local advice from Bill,the local rep.'

'We all loved our time at Nicholas’ house. There is so much to do at the house and it is surrounded by a wall which makes it very easy to be with young families. We picked the vegetables and fruit, fed the chickens and absolutely loved spending time in the river. The pool is beautiful and the house is homely and elegant with everything you need for a happy and easy stay. Nicholas was extremely communicative and kind. 'The house is as stylish and capacious as the booking information suggests! We made full use of the cool indoor spaces and the pool during our stay at the height of a heatwave. Macqueville and the nearby villages are very quiet and we experienced the slightly unreliable hours of the village shop and restaurant. Booking there is essential. Also a special mention for Dave who was very helpful. '

'Wij vonden dat de slaapkamers benauwd en warm waren zonder mogelijkheid tot ventileren. Daarnaast was de toegang tot de douche erg nauw +/- 35 cm, was de afvoer niet berekend op de watermassa waardoor overstroming. Verder lekwater vanuit de douche naar de keuken. Tenslotte erg smalle bedden. (twijfelaar 140cm) Toegang tot toilet matig. Geen ruimte om je te keren. Ventilatie kan eenvoudig opgelost door losse ventilatoren te plaatsen'

"Unieke B&B met ENGELS sprekende host. Veel tips voor uitjes, eten en leuke dingen te doen in de omgeving. Leuk dat er ook dieren zijn, de honden en katten verwelkomen je (alleen als je dat wilt) en ook het schaap, de vissen, kikkers, duiven en kippen katen zich horen.
