'It's a lovely cabin in the forest with everything you need for days or weeks of stay. With all the IKEA furniture the place felt like home to us. The kitchen is well equipped, bathroom is good size and the bedroom is cozy and inviting to sleep. Everything was squeaky clean. Would come back anytime.'

'My 93 year old mother and I had a wonderful few days at this darling cottage! I brought a portable ramp so that I could take my mom up into the cottage in her wheelchair. 'This is a unique stay on the world famous Cabot Trail. It is a one room cabin, like a treehouse over looking St Anns Bay. The washroom facilities are a short walk down hill the facilities. It is not for everybody. It definitely worked for us! We spent 5 nights of relaxing after the beautiful drives we took on the Cabot Trail. The bed was great and having a coffee on the front deck was a great way to start the day. Thank you to the hosts! Cheers @EddieMac75 '

'We certainly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful setting. The cottages were well stocked with everything we needed! The check-in and check-out process was easy to follow and the host was very responsive to the few questions we had.'

My brother and I enjoyed our stay and met the owners *who gave me a ride back up the hill when I forgot my keys! I would recommend to anyone looking for a Cabot Trail basecamp! '

' We loved our stay at the Big Intervale Fishing lodge. Everything was fabulous, the environment, the hospitality of Hermann and Ruth, the riverpool, our lodges and the excellent food (breakfast and dinner). We were sad we had to leave after two nights. 'Loved the location ( next to a river!) and also loved the experience of ‘glam ping’, staying in an RV during a rainstorm was fun and cozy! 'We wish we could live at Rita’s retreat all the time! Our room was nice and cozy. The backyard is so spacious and peaceful all the way down to the water. The indoor saltwater pool was icing on the cake! Mike was very accommodating, helpful and fun to talk to— I recommend Rita’s Retreat!'

'The cabin was a perfect location with gorgeous views. The welcome basket was amazing with all kinds of goodies in it! The cabin had everything in it that we could have needed. We loved our visit with Gus and Gert. We highly recommend their cabin!'

"Nice town with interesting history like the inventor Bell who lived near the town. The hotel is good. It has a nostalgic vibe. The staff is friendly, room was clean and spacious. The wifi non existent but that’s alright. Breakfast was not included and we opted for the buffet which was $20. Quite okay these days. "
