'We stayed the weekend at Bear Bluff retreat to hike nearby state parks and view the waterfalls. It was perfect! The cabin is exactly as pictured. Everything is new and the amenities are well thought out giving you everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is convenient and the view is spectacular! We loved sitting on the balcony enjoying the sunsets and peace each evening and a calm cup of coffee each morning. The star gazing is amazing! I haven’t seen that many stars in years....

'So peaceful. So relaxing. We feel rejuvenated. Such a treasure!'

'First we want to say the property location, cleanliness, comfort and amenities were all first class. The view from the patio is beautiful. The location in proximity to the surrounding waterfalls and - parks is perfect.Now I want to speak about the owners Curt & JoAnn, they are great people and now I will forever call them friend. I had a medical issue while there and I don’t know what my wife would have done without their loving assistance. Great people and place. We will be back'

'Book it, you will not be disappointed! I only stayed for a short trip of two days but it was nothing short of amazing. It was just me and my dog. The space was very pet friendly, clean, and well organized.'

'This property is amazing. Very quiet, nature is really all you'll hear. Some friends booked the cabin next to ours and we had a blast being able to sit on the deck, listen to music on the record player, play boardgames, and relax. This property would be an every-weekend kind of visit if possible. Zero complaints'

'Absolutely breathtaking views and amazing wildlife! This little hidden gem offers everything you could ask for out of a getaway! We had no problems with finding the place, but it is definitely a one car road so be mindful of those directions! It got cool on us a couple nights while we were there, we wished we could've used the fireplace in the living room but we didn't. Overall an absolutely amazing experience! Looking to be able to bring our family out!'

'This is the most adorable little place! It was clean, airy, and very convenient to the local hiking and sightseeing areas. The gate on the driveway limits access, giving a feeling of safety above and beyond the usual. Will definitely be staying again!'

'Clean nice private area to relax enjoyed the outdoor fireplace area location is close to Cookeville and surrounding falls areas only improvements would be an upstairs restroom had to leave couple days earlier than planned but enjoyed the stay'

'After having problems getting into the cabin our stay went very well. The drive getting to the cabin was a little rough but we took it slow and had no problems. The highlight of our stay was sitting on the deck listening to the birds. The cabin is secluded and is so quiet and peaceful. We’d love to come back sometime. '
