'I stayed for a couple nights for my birthday. Wanted something secluded and small. This was a perfect little cabin that fit the bill. Cool place with a creek right next to it and a little fire pit. Could definitely go back again '

'So many things to mention…fishing and playing in the river, relaxing on the porch, roasting marshmallows by the fire, enjoying the privacy and seclusion of the property (we literally saw no other people while we were there), fully stocked kitchen, linens provided. I could go on and on. We will definitely be back to Blue River Cabin! Thank you for sharing your place with us! '

'I absolutely loved this place! It was rustic and charming. The check-in was so easy, as was check-out. Communication from the owners was terrific. The location was quiet and it was nice to sit on the porch and listen to the creek. The outside of the cabins might need a little TLC. The bonus was the history of this place! People used to come from all over in the late 1800's and early 1900's to drink water from the spring, which was said to have healing properties. The hotel that used to be there...

'This cabin was in a perfect location and the host was great with communication!'

' The location on top of the mountain provided spectacular views and cool mornings even in July. I would suggest putting a medium sized skillet in the house to use with the convection hot plate. The fridge may need checking also. It took most of three days to cool down. Overall this is a great rental which I think was an outstanding value. I would definately stay here again.'

'Check-in instructions were easy to follow. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bed linens, towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap were provided. Very clean and nice place. Refreshing cooler air as we are going through a heat wave at home. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the rocking chairs listening to the bird's and seeing 8 deer 2 mornings. '

'Such an amazing place. Ideal getaway into the mountains while also being within 30 mins of food/entertainment. Glad these places are still intact after the hurricane. It’s on a one room cabin, but has everything you need. Fire pit along the quiet rolling river couldn’t of been better!'

'For the cost of what we paid for the rental, it was fantastic. It has 2 great outdoor spaces, with a top and lower deck. It is small, but enough space for what we needed. It needs a few simple things, that I noticed others mention, like more towels. We are 60 guest and had to maneuver to get up the outdoor steps and to get in to the high ledge bath tub/showers. We found the furniture and beds comfortable. The kitchen had just about anything you could use, but a big pot to boil spaghetti. We...

"One night stay here after staying at their sister hotel in Raleigh. The property itself is fine but no atmosphere compared to Raleigh. Easy parking, clean and comfortable room. Not much to do within walking distance, except a burger takeaway. We tried to walk to a nearby microbrewery. It should've been a 5 minute walk, but we found it impossible to cross the 6-lane highway in front of the motel so gave up and went back to our room. Maybe, as Europeans, we're not used to the American way of driving everywhere, but to visit a brewery, walking would seem a safer option. Pleasant enough motel but not sure we'd return."
