'We set out looking for a large house close to Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown that would house our group of 9 family style. This house fit our needs and was more than comfortable. 'The staff was super friendly and helpful! The camp had allot to off the kids and plenty of room to roam around. If you need supplies there are stores within a 6 minute drive. We all had a good time.'

'The cottage is a treasure and the island is beautiful. Wonderful views of herons and other wildlife always outside the back windows! 'We stayed this past week with our two dogs, and it was a wonderful family vacation. We stayed in the Blacksmith Cottage, which was fully-furnished with everything we needed. 'I have no perfect words for how beautiful and comfortable this home was for us. We had a small family group to welcome our Navy Sailor back from deployment, and our stay was so enjoyable! Clean, and beautifully decorated. The hosts were also very fast in responding, and we so kind. I can't wait to go back!'

'Great location & wonderful amenities! You can’t beat the beauty of the river’s view and the woods that surround the property. We stayed with our two young sons and they loved playing outside, the arcade games, and the dock. The only draw back for families is not having an internal staircase, but it wasn’t too much of a problem for us. This is definitely more for a rustic getaway rather than a luxurious stay. It worked very well for our family of boys. '
