Nice hotel in good location for ferry port.
Good location if catching the ferry for Bilbao with a lovely beach and restaurants 5 minutes drive away. Hotel was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Continental breakfast was good and varied. Refinery is a bit of an eyesore during the day but as it was a quick stopover it didn't worry us and at night it looked quite nice all lit up.

Good overnight stop
Excellent location for Bilbao Ferry Port, interesting building, Good Breafkast everyone very helpful. Positioning of hotel next to Oil Refinery not so good with a constant hum from the machinery. Good overnight stop.

El sitio fabuloso. La atención muy buena .estuvimos en las habitaciones tipo cabaña, al principio nos chocó , pero luego resultó ser muy bueno. La única pega que le pondría es que el baño no tiene puerta, pero por lo demás todo muy bien

Lovely cabin room
We had one of the outside cabin rooms which was lovely - nicely decorated & very clean. The hotel is well located for access to the port & the town, but still quiet. The downside of this location is the oil refinery right next door but as the cabins face in to the garden area it’s not a problem. In fact it’s quite spectacular at night when it’s all lit.

Convenient for the Bilbao ferry terminal
The hotel is convenient for sailing from Bilbao ferry terminal, but is next to an industrial suburb, so the outlook is not great. Hotel is friendly and adequately appointed. The staff speak no English but somehow communication is achieved. The breakfast was fine, the dinner very simple with a choice of only two main dishes, but adequate and reasonably priced.

Charming hotel in an industrial nightmare
Thé welcome is warm and friendly, rooms comfortable, bathrooms spacious And owners are a delight. However it is set on a hill above Muskiz looking down at the most appalling industrial factory view that belches out noxious fumes morning noon and night and that is a major strike against what is otherwise a great stop over.

It was a great location for easy travel to ferry port with secure off road parking. The location was isolated but within travelling distance both by car and local buses to Bilbao

Hotel a proximité d'une énorme raffinerie bruyante. Pas de clim et impossible d'ouvrir les fenêtres. 30'C dans la chambre. A éviter !

Great hotel,free secure gated car park, just buzz to gain access. Very friendly staff. Quite isolated i.e. not much within walking distance but that was not an issue as there is a bar and restaurant in the premise. Basic but very good food. A very good continental is served in the morning. Great shower and comfortable bed. Perfect location for the ferry port in Bilbau, less than a 10 minute drive away.

A surprise package!
We stayed here before catching the ferry in Bilbao and were surprised to find other British guests doing the same. It has everything you need in fact it is surprising that a house can be so like a hotel, even a lift! Once you are there though there is nowhere to go but there is a bar and simple meals are served. What the information though doesn't tell you it was overlooking huge gas works which can be a bit smelly. Overall though the good outweighed the bad and I would recommend this hotel. Fortunately our view didn't look over the gas works

'A Jewel of a Hotel'
The Hotel Palacio Munatones is excellent. The hotel has been beautifully refurbished. Our room (205) was equally well furnished and comfortable. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and attentive. Certainly, I would fully recommend the hotel to everyone. My advice would be to ignore the unfortunate location of the oil finery which is very visible but not necessarily obtrusive.

Clean, comfortable and friendly hotel.
Lovely hotel and very friendly staff. Menu limited however that maybe due to it being out of season. Not much nearby but perfect for our needs to get to Bilbao port. We would definitely stay there again.

Un palacete perfecto
El hotel es muy bonito y cómodo, y la habitación nuestra fenomenal. El trato del personal exquisito, y el desayuno perfecto. El tema del entorno, con la refinería al lado no es un problema, pues no es ninguna incomodidad, y encima tienes una playa magnífica muy cerca.

Pase un fin de semana con mi pareja y estuvimos de diez. Lo único comentar que me hubiera gustado que estuviera el asador operativo , la carta me pareció un poquito escasa y el comedor también se hacía txikitito. Por lo demás atención y lugar perfecta y precioso

El hotel esta fenomenal, camas muy cómodas todo muy limpio, decoración muy cuidada, el personal muy amable y eficiente, buen desayuno, y en la cafetería bocadillos y pinchos estupendos. Muy recomendable.
