'A basic lodging for travellers in a good location. It is surrounded by quite a number of eateries, pub, restaurants & fast foods. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. However my room is right next to the recycle bin area that noise appears whenever staffs dispose bottles and cans. I expected the noise stop at 10pm but it didn't. Sadly I was awake by the last noise at 11.30pm. Hopefully the hotel will address to this issue.'

'Het uitzicht was uniek. Zicht op de haven en de toren van Auckland. Een zeer mooie kamer, zoals de foto bij boeking. Goede bedden en goede kwaliteit lakens. Service van al het personeel: uitstekend, zoals je het bij een 5 sterrenhotel verwacht. Minpuntje: de deur van de gemeenschappelijke stoomkamer sleepte over de vloer bij het openen en sluiten. Storend wanneer je zit te relaxen en genieten. '

'Once again Horizon did not fail to impress! We booked a day before mother’s day so we wake up to the day at Horizon. Upon entering the room, we were greeted with a pleasant surprise of special welcome cheesecake, chocolates scented pillow relaxation spray and a welcome note! 'Ohtel is a comfortable hotel at a great location. Because of the terrible weather in Auckland the elevator was not working. We stayed 4 nights and were hosted on the 4th floor so that was 8 stairs everyday for a couple of times. Very heavy. The breakfast was good, so was the room and the service. '
